I made this little drawstring bag for a co-worker. I filled it with different kinds of RED candy. Red is her favorite. It was just something silly to help her when she got stressed. :)

Baby Logan
I made this set back in Feb of ‘08 for my cousin’s baby boy. I bought the matching crib skirt that goes to his bedding and ripped it apart and used it for the main fabric. It’s the fabric with the blue background and white stars.
The set includes:
- Travel Changing Pad
- Diaper Wipes Case
- Burp Cloth
- Bib
- 2 Paci Clips
Phew!!! Look at all that stuff I could do when I didn’t have a toddler running around. LOL Nowadays I don’t get around doing half that for shower gifts.
Simple Aprons
I embroidered on these two aprons. They are a great find. I got the blank aprons at Sam’s Club. I did these for 2 of our Foster Parents at work. One goes by “Mercy” and the other is called “Granny”. They appreciated them.
Doll Dress
Boots for American Girl Doll
T-Shirt, Cup, and Hairclip
I added a butterfly design to this t-shirt for one of my favorite Foster kid!! The t-shirt is still wet from removing the stabilizer. It was her birthday and now that I look back, she was too old for the sippy cup, but I thought it was cute. Added her name and design to some felt and added it into the “personalized” cup. I also tried to make a matching butterfly clip for her hair. I’m still practicing. :D
When Todd got home in 2008
When my brother, Todd, got home from his tour in Iraq last year, a bunch of us flew down to see him. About 20 of us flew stand-by from Nor-Cal to Southern-Cal to be there when Todd got off the bus. I made these yellow ribbons for all of us to wear to represent Todd. We wore them on the flight down there.
They were so time consuming. :) I had to cut and heat seal each ribbon. Lay them out on the hoop. First I sewed his name on one end, then how we were related to him on the other end. This was a fast, fun trip! In the pictures you can see Lexi and Peyton passing out peanuts on the Southwest flight.
Riley 5 days old
What do you do when you have a 5 day old and an 11 1/2 year old and you want them to have matching dresses? It’s not like the stores carry matching dresses that far apart in age. So, I bought 2 dresses, one was a size 12 and one was a size 14. I ripped the larger one apart and sewed it back together in a newborn size. It was the first and last thing that Lexi would ever let me put on her and Riley that matched. :(
They love each other.
