EMBROIDERY

singerXL6000I got my first Embroidery Machine back in the summer of 2007.  It’s a Singer XL-6000 model. My husband bought it for me because I wanted to personalize things for the foster kids we had in our home.  Each of the kiddos that came to our house received a bag or backpack that had their name on it.  It started out with canvas bags that I did iron-ons on.  Then, when I got my machine I started making back packs with their names embroidered on them.  Now I use it to personalize gifts for friends and family.  I DO NOT use it to make items to sell or to make things for others to give as gifts.  It’s my hobby and I want to keep it that way.  I also have very little time to work on crafts as I have a full-time job that I have to commute to and I also have a 12 year old and 1 year old.  So when I do have time to work on projects, I want them to be the ones on my list not on somebody else’s.  :)

I use Embird Software to make and edit my designs.
