Tutu Design

I used a piece of tule the width that it came on the roll. I folded it once and gathered the top edge. I stitched out the outline of the design and then stopped the machine. Then I layed the gathered edge of the tule just inside the design, making sure it didn’t stick out the side edges. This was the tricky part. I basically just held the tule in place while it stitched. (I held it long enough so I knew it was secure.) Then I trimed the tule when it was done to the desired length. If you wanted to use a piece of fabric you could use that instead. Good luck. I made this design for my own use, so if it’s not perfect, I apoligize in advance. Oh, I used verigated thread for the “lace” trim. You could use whatever you want. Also, it takes a lot of thread. I can’t remember how long it takes to stitch out, but it takes awhile. I wouldn’t try to resize it smaller because it’s already very dense.
